Retail Sales Associate
The Retail Sales Associate greets the client, takes measurements and advises on alteration services, which are then communicated clearly to the tailor.
Essential Job Functions:
Greets customers immediately
Answers phones in a professional manner and delegates appropriately
Provides expert fittings
Gives tailoring advice to clients
Performs cashier duties
Prices alternations appropriately
Keeps front reception and fitting areas clean
Organizes front desk paperwork (credit cards receipts, receipt books, marketing materials and deposit records)
Acts as liaison between client and tailor
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Demonstrated planning and organizational skills
Ability to set priorities and multitask
Ability to communicate orally and in writing
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Professional and pleasant demeanor
Conflict resolutions skills
Ability to operate a POS system and relevant computer skills
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma
2 years of relevant experience
Retail and/or customer service experience preferred

Tailors
Essential Job Functions:
Must be able to operate an industrial sewing machine
Fit, alter and repair clothing to customer's specifications
Let out or take in seams in garments to improve fit using industrial sewing machines
Make garment style changes
Tapering of pant legs
Measure parts such as sleeves or pant legs
Mark or pin-fold alterations line
Ability to multi task and communicate in a professional and pleasant demeanor
Minimum Requirements:
Must have tailoring experience
Knowledge of operating and industrial sewing machine
Basic knowledge of English or Spanish preferred

Managers
The Manager supports the Managing Partner to ensure that the goals and expectations of the company are met. Supervises the Production manager, senior tailors, workers, and store operations. Oversees quality of service.
Essential Job Functions:
Provides expert fitting and gives tailoring advice to clients
Prices and distributes alterations appropriately and accurately
Employee scheduling (including substituting or finding replacement for absent employees)
Communicates needs of the store to Operational Manager (supplies, materials, etc.)
Tracks inventory and cashier/sales reconciliation
Ensures alterations are completed on time and oversees quality control of garments
Performs tailor tests to hire new talent
Supervision of all onsite employees including evaluations, disciplinary actions
Acts as liaison between client and tailor
Machinery maintenance
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Demonstrated planning and organizational skills
Ability to work independently, set priorities and multitask
Ability to communicate orally and in writing
Conflict resolutions skills
Professional and pleasant demeanor
Ability to instruct tailors on alternations
